Practice

One of the most important components of having highly-skilled professionals enter the field is practice. Our graduate students start with practicum their first day at our onsite early education program, Sound Beginnings. Sound Beginnings is a demonstration program for the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind and serves children from Birth-to-Six years of age. Each graduate student has the opportunity to experience audiology, classroom settings, individual therapy, home visits, and tele-intervention. With these experiences come opportunities to interact and receive coaching from audiologists, deaf educators and speech language pathologists.
