A primary goal of the program is to investigate and develop best practices for children with hearing loss. Current research projects include examining the relationship between audiological assessments and childhood outcomes, examining assessment practices, and maximizing literacy outcomes of children with hearing loss. Our faculty members work closely with the Sound Beginnings staff and graduate students to ensure that evidence-based practices are integrated into the program.
